Volunteer
Volunteers are an integral part of the Grande Spirit Foundation. When you volunteer, you are giving the gift of your time and talent to others.
Volunteers help enhance the quality of life for the seniors in our facilities. Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to your community, make a difference in someone's life, as well as yours, gain valuable experience, make lasting friendships and have fun at the same time.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities including, but not limited to:
- Painting with the residents
- Making crafts
- Playing cards or games
- Knitting
- Exercise Leader (seated exercise)
- Pet Therapy
- Bingo Callers or checkers
- Seasonal Decorating
- Evening Entertainment Assistant
- Finger Nail Paint
- Musical Entertainment
These opportunities may not be available at all facilities.
If you would like to volunteer your time with Grande Spirit Foundation, please fill out a Volunteer Information Package and return it to a Grande Spirit Foundation facility or to our Administration Building at 9505 102 Avenue in Grande Prairie.
